You try to pick up all your empty shells when you go hunting, but some of them always manage to escape you. And no one in their right mind would try to find all their wads! But when you hunt with BioAmmo, you don’t have to worry about leaving plastic litter all over the ground. This 12 Gauge ammo contains no plastic!

BioAmmo makes their hulls and wads out of biopolymer. This vegetable based material is edible to bacteria, fungi and algae, so if you leave this ammo’s hulls and wads on the ground they will eventually be broken down into salt, water and carbon dioxide. It can take up to two years for the composting process to finish, so you may still wish to pick up your hulls – still, two years is a lot shorter than plastic is going to remain intact for!

BioAmmo didn’t overlook their other components while making this hunting load. It has hard and round #6 shot, perfect for a variety of birds including pheasant, with the uniform primer and powder charge requisite for consistent ballistic performance. BioAmmo’s brown, compostable wad even has a collapsing base, so you can enjoy lighter felt recoil as you’re out bagging your birds.

BioAmmo shotshells can be stored in normal conditions for at least five years.
