The boys in the lab have yet to prove that the 28 Gauge shotshell is superior in any one particular way. That said, you can’t deny the shell patterns like a dream, produces only very little recoil, and downs birds with the efficiency of a heat-seeking missile. The 28 Gauge’s only major shortcoming is that it’s relatively hard to find, but our friends down in Mexico are working hard to fix that with this fine ammunition.

This 28 Gauge shotshell is loaded with the standard 3/4 ounces of shot. It’s #8 lead shot, a versatile pellet size owing to its great utility at the target shooting range as well as in the thickets where the best birds like to hide out. Aguila’s hard and spherical shot stays bundled closely together upon roaring out of the muzzle at 1,275 fps, and its pattern is only made tighter by a high density wad.

Aguila doesn’t squander the great reputation they’ve earned for their 22 LR ammo by producing inferior shotshells. In this box you will find responsive primers, clean burning propellant, and hearty hulls which you could make very good use of at a reloading bench.
