Description

This military surplus 7.62x54r ammo is from Romania, the same country that gave the world Dracula. Like Dracula sleeping in his coffin, this ammo has also laid dormant for many years in its hermetically sealed steel spam can. It’s still in marvelous condition thanks to that!

This Mosin-Nagant ammo is just what you should expect from Eastern European mil-surp. It has steel casings, because Romania probably had better things to do with their valuable brass supply and Romanian soldiers are rarely concerned with handloading anyway. The casings’ red sealant has and will continue to help prevent water from infiltrating through the neck and primer.

This round’s Berdan primer functions indistinguishably from America’s preferred Boxer primer, but with one exception: It is corrosive, which means you’ll either have to clean your rifle with something like hot soapy water or Ballistol or watch it accumulate rust. Much better to take the proper cleaning route.

These rounds are furnished with 148 grain FMJ projectiles. The bullets’ silvery tips indicate that they possess steel cores, so they are indeed magnetic and accordingly not welcome at many ranges.
